Lauren Schuster is a 2020 graduate from Manhattan College with a BA in English and a BA in communications with a concentration in journalism, as well as a minor in women and gender studies. She currently works as the editor of luxury lifestyle magazine Mann About Town, where she manages and creates content for their monthly issues. She also has experience as a freelance writer for TheThings.com and Neighborhoods.com and as a proofreader for E2GSports.com. She also held an internship with TVGuide Magazine during her final semester at Manhattan College. She was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, but grew up with a strong love of New York City. From a young age, she was very passionate about writing, which led to her decision to pursue journalism. 

Schuster loves covering artistic and cultural events throughout NYC and beyond. Schuster spends her free time reading, writing, catching up on the latest TikTok trends and watching Netflix, usually with her two cats snoozing by her side. She also loves to take advantage of the many cultural experiences that New York City has to offer, from art museums and Broadway shows to trendy restaurants. In the future, she hopes to continue writing about all things art, culture, lifestyle and fashion.
